About Ink Cadence
A clear publishing path should leave a traceable line of reasoning.
Ink Cadence turns one completed or nearly completed book into five named materials and practical next actions. The work is prepared for author review because the evidence, editorial choices, and author decisions remain visible.
The working method
Accountability is part of the deliverable.
No founder biography, customer history, or borrowed credential is used as proof. The standard is the documented work: what was known, why a choice was made, what still needs author confirmation, and whether the package passed its recorded QA checkpoint.
- 01
Evidence
Begin with the author’s short book record, publishing goals, constraints, available assets, and the decisions still unresolved.
- 02
Judgment
Make a small number of book-specific recommendations. Each one records the fact observed, the editorial judgment, and the practical consequence.
- 03
Integration
Check that positioning, retailer copy, author voice, calendar, and welcome sequence support the same reader promise instead of becoming five disconnected files.
- 04
Author review
Surface assumptions, rejected alternatives, and approval points. The author decides what proceeds and controls every outside account and action.
- 05
Editorial QA
Before a package can be marked ready for author review, substantive editorial QA is required and recorded for accuracy, evidence, consistency, unsupported claims, scope, voice, and useful specificity.
- 06
Decision record
Publishing HQ preserves the package status, author approvals, revision notes, and next action. It does not publish, upload, send, purchase, or act outside the author’s control.
What Ink Cadence prepares—and what stays with you.
The Publishing Foundation prepares book and author positioning; retailer description, keywords, categories, and metadata direction; author-brand messaging and direction; a practical launch/operations calendar; and a reader welcome email sequence. It does not edit manuscripts, design covers, format or upload files, publish, post, advertise, contact third parties, purchase services, or change external accounts.
The author retains
- Final approval over every recommendation
- Ownership of accounts, files, publishing route, and outside actions
- A decision record that makes assumptions and revisions visible
One book. Five named materials. The author reviews the reasoning before any decision moves forward.
